Lauriejean’s Exceptional Consignment Boutique is a woman’s clothing store decorated with exceptional style and savior faire. The atmosphere is elegant and not at all what one would expect from a consignment store. As you walk into the boutique you know right away that you are in for a special shopping experience. The atmosphere of elegance is communicated through chandeliers, luxurious draperies, gilded mirrors and antique style fixtures and furniture. The french flair decor gives it a real boutique feel. The atmosphere brings the shopper into the exotic world of an expensive Parisian boutique. It’s a real treat just to walk in and visit.

The garments are high quality and the prices are extremely reasonable. Many consignors choose Lauriejean’s because of the different policies and consignor agreement.

Who is Lauriejean?

Laurie Amsden has always had a passion for fashion. Her mother is a talented seamstress and dress designer. She has many years experience in fashion, marketing and retail and she has always been an avid consignment shopper herself. Tired of the corporate world she decided to open her own boutique. It was always difficult for her to find appropriate business and career wear, so she specializes in garments appropriate for the working woman.

Another way Laurie helps working women is through the consignment policy at her boutique. Garments that have not sold by the end of the season are donated to Dress For Success, an organization that helps disadvantaged women find work clothes to help get and keep their jobs.

Laurie wants her customers to feel special when they shop in her boutique. She wants them to feel good about themselves when they save money. Laurie’s personality and her little Labradoodle make shopping at her boutique a wonderful experience.

How does it work?

Consignments are accepted by appointment only. We will set up an account for you at your first visit and review the policy and protocol for doing business. Please note that not all garments may be accepted. Please bring your garments on hangers, clean, pressed and free from stains. No missing buttons or broken zippers please. Garments must be in season and in style.

You will receive 50% of the sale price that is set by the boutique. Checks are written once a month after all paperwork has been completed. Garments not sold by the end of the season are donated to Dress For Success.

You will be notified if a check is waiting for you at the store. Please note commission checks are not mailed.You may use your money as store credit if you’d like.
